II. Installation Tutorial [ Installation Video ]
1. Preparation Before Installation
- Ensure your device supports RFID functionality (hardware must include an RFID module).
- Download the latest version of the RFID Utility Software package.
- Prepare the original USB cable for connecting the device to a computer (if required).
- Make sure the device battery is at least 50% to avoid shutdown during installation.
2. Installation Steps
Option 1: PC Installation
- Download and extract the RFID Utility Software package from the official website.
- Double-click Setup.exe (Windows) / Install.sh (Linux) to start the installer.
- Follow the installation wizard: choose the installation path → click "Next" → wait for installation to complete.
- After installation, a desktop or Start Menu shortcut for RFID Utility Software will be created.
- Launch the software. On first run, install or update the required drivers as prompted.
Option 2: Tablet/Handheld Installation (Android)
- Copy the downloaded RFID.apk file to device storage.
- Open the device → go to File Manager → locate the installation package.
- Tap RFID.apk → follow the prompts to complete installation.
- After installation, the RFID Utility Software icon will appear in the application list.
- Open the app. On first run, you may need to grant permissions such as storage, Bluetooth, and location.
3. Post-Installation Check
- Open the software to confirm it launches correctly.
- Connect the RFID module or antenna and perform a test tag read.
- If the device is not detected, check whether the driver is installed properly.
4. Common Issues
- Installation failed? → Verify the installation package is complete, or re-download and try again.
- Software won't start? → Check system compatibility and try running as administrator.
- RFID device not recognized? → Ensure drivers are installed, and try a different USB cable or port.
